I treated myself. I really love this mug! It's beautiful, unique, ornate. The crane and golden clouds in contrast to the black matte glaze is stunning! I look forward to using it every day! I get compliments and intrigue on it all the time.
My constructive feedback:
- The ceramic steeper has too few and too large of holes for the highest quality steep.
- The lid sits loosely on the mug. It's not a quality, snug fit.

Love the weight , the size and the beautiful cranes. One on the lid and 2 on the mug.
Just be careful when lifting the tea drain- holes in the side can lead to a wet counter. Remove it slowly

Beautiful mug, very nicely packaged. My son, (it was a birthday gift)the coffee fanatic was going "Ooh" and "Aah!" as he opened it. He tells me it is easy to use and comfortable to hold - always a consideration - some cups look beautiful but don't work well with fingers, or better yet, force them against a hot cup.
